Brandon Murataj

Defender / MidfielderThomas Jefferson UniversityNCAA Division II

A 6'2" defender/midfielder out of Abington, Brandon spent four years on varsity at Abington High School before moving on to the college level with the Thomas Jefferson University Rams.

As a junior he earned 2nd Team All-Suburban One Conference honors while helping Abington reach the District 1 final and advance to the PIAA State Quarterfinals, then took 1st Team All-SOL recognition as a senior. He also competes in USL League Two as a regular starter for Lone Star Academy, where he plays the full 90 minutes and remains a crucial piece of their squad.

Brian O'Neill

Brian O'Neill

MidfielderMillersville UniversityNCAA Division II · PSAC

A 6'0" midfielder from Jenkintown and an Abington High School product, Brian also competes in USL League Two for Reading United.

As a freshman in 2025 he earned All-PSAC East Second Team honors and was twice named PSAC Athlete of the Week. He appeared in 18 matches with 13 starts, scored his first collegiate goal against Georgian Court, and added two assists in a win over Holy Family. He closed the year with back-to-back two-goal performances against Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg, finishing third on the team with six goals and 14 points. In high school he was a two-time all-league selection and All-ECNL First Team pick who helped his teams to three league championships and a district finals appearance.

Drew Paxson

Drew Paxson

DefenderUniversity of ScrantonNCAA Division III · Landmark

A 6'1" defender and team captain from Elkins Park and an Abington High School product, Drew plays for the University of Scranton Royals.

In 2025 he started all 20 games for a Scranton defense that led the entire nation with a 0.198 goals-against average and 17 shutouts, contributing 12 points on four goals and four assists. He started every game as a sophomore in 2024 — including a game-winner over Lycoming — and all he appeared in as a freshman. His honors include USC Scholar All-America Second Team, All-Region V First Team, Scholar All-East Region First Team, CSC Academic All-District, and All-Landmark Conference First Team, all in 2025. In high school he helped Abington to three straight Liberty Division titles and earned All-League honors twice.

Braeden Brownholtz

Braeden Brownholtz

MidfielderMillersville UniversityNCAA Division II · PSAC

A 6'1" midfielder out of Abington, Braeden plays for the Millersville University Marauders.

As a sophomore in 2025 he was a fixture in the midfield, appearing in all 19 games with 14 starts and logging 1,085 minutes. As a freshman in 2024 he made an immediate impact with 17 appearances and nine starts, recording an assist against Shippensburg and seeing extended minutes down the stretch, including 70-plus minutes in three of the final four matches.

Daniel Oliveira

A 5'9" right back from Abington, Daniel plays for the East Stroudsburg University Warriors.

In his first college season in 2025 he started 10 of the 16 matches he appeared in, anchoring an ESU defense that allowed the third-lowest opponent goals per game in the PSAC at just 1.11 per game. A decorated high school career preceded his arrival: he was a four-time Liberty Division champion who earned All-State, Regional All-American, and SOL Player of the Year honors.

A 6'2" goalkeeper from Glenside and an Abington High School product, Kevin plays for the East Stroudsburg University Warriors.

In 2025 he was named PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week after a five-save shutout of Gannon. He appeared in 12 matches with 11 starts and totaled 24 saves on the season, part of an ESU defense that allowed the third-lowest opponent goals per game in the PSAC at 1.11. Among his standout outings were a four-save shutout at Shepherd and a three-save effort against West Chester.

A 6'2" defender who came up through Abington High School, Jose plays for the East Stroudsburg University Warriors.

In 2025 he started 11 of the 13 matches he played, helping anchor an ESU back line that allowed the third-lowest opponent goals per game in the PSAC at 1.11. As a freshman in 2024 he appeared in 14 matches with 12 starts, tallying his first collegiate point on an assist at Bloomsburg and logging a season-high 90 minutes against Holy Family.

Liam Hartman

ForwardBloomsburg UniversityNCAA Division II · PSAC

A forward out of Abington, Liam plays for the Bloomsburg University Huskies.

As a redshirt freshman in 2024 he appeared in seven games for a program that made history, helping Bloomsburg to a program-record 15 wins and the first PSAC title in team history, along with back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances — the first time the program had reached the tournament in consecutive years. In the PSAC Semifinal against Slippery Rock, he converted his penalty in the shootout.

A 6'0" forward out of Abington who wears the captain's armband for the Galloping Ghosts, Brady now plays for the Moravian University Greyhounds.

He saw the field in five matches during his debut 2025-26 season, getting his first taste of college soccer with the Greyhounds as he works toward a larger role.

A forward and Abington High School graduate, Braden plays for the Ithaca College Bombers.

A two-year varsity starter and senior captain at Abington, he put together a decorated high school résumé. In 2023 he was named ECNL Northeast All-Conference U-19 Second Team, Suburban One League Liberty Division First Team and Player of the Year Runner-Up, All-Southeastern PA First Team, and Abington Offensive Player of the Year. In 2022 he earned ECNL Northeast All-Conference U-17 First Team honors.

A 5'7" midfielder from Glenside and an Abington High School product, Luke plays for the Gwynedd Mercy University Griffins.

He broke out as a sophomore in 2024, leading the team in goals (6), assists, points (13), shots, and shots on goal en route to All-AEC First Team honors. As a junior in 2025 he was named All-AEC Second Team, scoring four goals in 14 games and earning AEC Player of the Week after netting the game-winner in the regular-season finale — a result that clinched Gwynedd Mercy the #5 seed in the conference tournament. He finished the season ranked among the AEC's top 10 in assists, points, and shots. As a freshman in 2023 he scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Centenary.

A 5'9" defender out of Abington and an Abington High School product who played under Coach Pitkow, Kyle plays for the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions.

He earned steady minutes as a freshman in 2024, then took a clear step forward as a sophomore in 2025, appearing in all 20 games and logging 690 minutes on the back line. Across his first two seasons he has featured in 27 matches and totaled 858 minutes for the Nittany Lions.

Euan Silva

Euan Silva

ForwardUniversity of Valley ForgeNCAA Division III

A 6'3" forward from Glenside, Euan plays for the University of Valley Forge Patriots.

Home schooled, he played his soccer at Abington High School under Coach Pitkow, where he piled up silverware: he was a winner of the 2024 NCS State Cup, a three-time Jack Walsh Tournament champion (2019, 2020, 2022), and a winner of the 2023 Lancaster Summer Classic, as well as a PIAA District 1 Finalist. In his first college season in 2024 he appeared in and started four games, averaging 54 minutes per appearance.
